The New Zealand Fighter Pilots Museum and Alpine Fighter Collection at the Wanaka Airport brings the history of early aerial warfare, and the pilots who helped create that history, to the public. An insight into a bygone era is provided with displays of aircraft, such as the Spitfire, Tiger Moth, Mustang, as well as exhibits on New Zealand's Aces and Fighter Squadrons.
